This fabulous new summerhouse was recently completed by our loyal customer Nigel Empson Joinery using materials exclusively sourced from Bennetts Timber
Nigel planned and designed the summerhouse for his client using the following materials:-
47mm x 100mm treated and 47mm x 75mm treated for the framework;
50mm x 100mm CLS for the studding;
Thermowood Premium cladding 25mm x 150mm machined to profile BEN SN 3A, tongue & groove with a shadow gap, for the external cladding which was run horizontally and subsequently painted;
Tricoya MDF board for the soffits and fascias. Tricoya is a high performance MDF panel that can be used in the most extreme environments;
19mm x 38mm treated for the roof battens;
Western Red Cedar Blue label shingles and hips/ridges for the roof covering;
19mm x 125mm matchboard for the floor and internal cladding. Matchboard is a softwood which has been planed and machined to Tongue and Groove with a 'v' joint.
