This attractive contemporary boundary fencing project was completed for a client by one of our longstanding customers, M H Fencing & Landscaping who is also an accredited installer of DuraPost.
For this project Mark from M H Fencing & Landscaping removed the existing fence and posts, cleared the area, levelled and prepared it for the new fence. He then installed the DuraPosts into holes filled with fast setting Post Mix, set some DuraPost u-channel then fixed arris rails to the posts. Featheredge boards were then nailed to the rails using galvanised round wire nails, the boards were cut to a curved bow with the fence finished off using fence capping. The finished result looks neat and contemporary.
All materials were supplied by Bennetts Timber.
The main advantages of DuraPost steel fencing posts over concrete or timber are their strength and durability. Unlike timber and concrete DuraPost® doesn't require regular painting, staining or sealing to keep it looking good. Resistant to rust, rot, it will not warp or crack and is guaranteed for up to 25 years. DuraPost is manufactured in the UK from galvanised steel which has been cold-rolled, giving it incredible strength.
DuraPost® is also incredibly durable, while a typical wooden fence post (even if pressure treated) may have a lifespan of 10 years, DuraPost® will not weather or rust and has a 25 year guarantee, built to last even longer than that.
