Customers and visitors to our Grimsby depot over the last month will have noticed a gaping hole at the end of the main timber warehouse. As a result of a fire in June 2022 the gable end was badly damaged and following agreement with our insurers repairs have been completed by Timmins Engineering & Construction Ltd over the last month.
We are really pleased with the result, the team from Timmins have worked really well to get a good finish and we are pleased that we now have a weatherproof warehouse again to keep our timber dry.
Further works are required over the next few weeks as the warehouse is rewired and upgraded fire and security alarm systems are installed by Wil-Lec and Bee Safe respectively. This should not be too disruptive but apologise in advance for any inconvenience during this next period of work, should any occur.
